First laptop giveaway for students in 2008 starting

Some of the first student laptops (running Linux) acquired by the Department of Computer Science are here ready to be given to the first-year students. The process was formally organized as a maximum of five-year loans, and students were required to return the device if they finish their computer science studies earlier. On the right, Chief of Studies Jaakko Kurhila and IT designer Pasi Vettenranta are waiting for the students.
